The National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (NATEPS) Thermal Imaging and Video Analytics (TIVA) for Search and Rescue Missions Project called for the development and implementation of an all encompassing system to aid search and rescue missions.
METIS were invited to join a specialist consortia to develop and integrate the mounting plate and static gimbal stabilisation assembly for an optical payload that was being developed for installation onto an AERYON SKYRANGER Quadcopter. The METIS part of the project was successfully delivered.
